ABS Services successfully completed the demolition of 500 lineal feet of moving sidewalk in Concourse A at CVG Airport in Hebron, Kentucky.
Executing demolition work inside an active airport concourse required detailed planning and strict safety protocols. With constant pedestrian traffic and ongoing airport operations, safety, cleanliness, and traveler awareness were our highest priorities throughout the project.
Our team developed a phased demolition plan that allowed all work to be performed within a fully barricaded workspace. Material removal and haul-out activities were strategically scheduled during off-hours to minimize disruption and maintain a safe, orderly environment for airport patrons and staff.
